Fiona Brett Blything is an artist & illustrator working on the Wirral, Cheshire. Her work is usually based on natural forms,either semi-abstract colour compositions from flowers and plants or illustrative fairytale paintings.
She also lectures at Ness Gardens through Liverpool University and takes private painting & design classes for beginners through to experienced levels.
Fiona was Head of Department at The Queen's School, Chester and Head Designer in an industrial textiles setting for much of her career. She also has experience working as a community artist in Scotland and has exhibited and sold works both nationally and internationally.
She is currently working on writing and illustrating a series of small books.
